Both items are in the usual frugilicious quality – thick, rich, soft, snuggly cotton that you actually don’t have to iron (and I am someone who is usually ironing everything). While other clothing manufacturers seem to have problems when it comes to seams ‘twisting’ after one or two times in the washing machine, that is no issue here. As usual with Frugi clothes, the seams just stay in place!
The trousers have great details: The knee patches are both practical and look cute, the drawstring is attached in the back so that you don’t have to worry that it will be pulled out, and the thick elastic band in the waist stays in place. The trousers are quite long for our daughter, but due to the design of the waist, it is no problem to simply bend down the elastic part in the waist – and they fit perfectly. I would not be surprised if those trousers would fit a couple of sizes ahead. They may be 2/3 long in the end but that will look great too and the patches will still cover the knee since they are big.
I love the smock top. It is so pretty! And whether your little one is jumping and dancing or having a nap, this top is clearly very comfy. Due to the empire cut, I would predict that this also covers a couple of sizes.
All in all a great set of clothes! I wouldn’t change a thing; this is created by people who have thought of every detail – and who understand how children’s clothes should work.
