Review of Scoop Neck Kaftan

I eagerly awaited the arrival of the new Frugi breastfeeding tops and have not been disappointed. Indecisive as ever I bought both the patterned and the black and at the moment they are the only tops I wear, hopping between the washer and the radiator for a speedy dry!

The insert means that you hide post baby belly as well as keeping warm! The patterned top goes really well with most other colours and hides a plethora of baby sick and other misdemeanors, it also looks even nicer than on the website. The black top does show up more spills but can be ‘dressed’ up. I wore mine to a smart family lunch recently. The only down side for me is the sleeves which look great but are tricky to keep clean. Just remember to roll them up before changing any nappies!!

  1. I have one of these too and I love it!! The sleeves are long but thats ok. The design is an improvement on last years as well 😉

  2. I agree, lovely useful top, though the size ranges are a little annoying, the 8-10 too small and the 12-14 too big, makes me look a bit lost and falls off the shoulders. regular sizes of 8,10,12,14… would be great.

  3. I too have one, its my favourite breast feeding top. I got it a few weeks before baby was due and wore is as a maternity top, then as a breast feeding top. I’ve worn it loads, its either in the wash or I’ve been wearing it for the last 6 months. Unlike other similar designed tops this one doesn’t ride up when you feed, its discreet, comfortable and washes well and has retained its shape.
