Cheeky Check Shorts

These shorts are fast becoming my favourite item in Tom’s wardrobe and I cannot wait to see him on the beach in them this summer.  They are simply adorable.  They have a  soft, drawstring, elasticated waist  so brilliant for independent toddlers who toddle off to the loo themselves.  The check has so many different blues you would be hard pressed to find a blue top which doesn’t go with them and I have also teamed them with white obviously and sunshine yellow.  We love these and I will be squirrelling them away somewhere safe when Tom has outgrown them and will delight when I pull them out again for Finn to wear.

Deep Sea Tee 2 pack

When browsing the Frugi website or catalogue, I have always been drawn to stripes, checks and beautiful applique tops and so have to admit that I have actually never bought any of the plain T-shirts.  This will now change.  Having been sent these to review I have compared them in price to ones I have previously bought usually on an individual basis and they are very competitive in price but are so much better than any we have previously had.  The cotton is thicker and softer which you can always expect from Frugi.  The colours seem gentler too and the fit / shape is fantastic and is holding up well when washed.

The neckline is flexible enough for easy changing and so no tears at bathtime when Tom tries to undress himself.  Both colours look fantastic with the cheeky check shorts and so many other items in Tom’s wardrobe.  If you haven’t bought them before for your little ones then I suggest you give them a try – you will be converted.

Mr Croc Jeans

I have to admit that Finn has a little bit of growing in the vertical stakes to do before we can fully appreciate these jeans but he has worn them rolled up already.  The drawstring waist is a must for us as we alternate between washable nappies and disposables when the washing load gets too much.  They fit perfectly over his washables and yet stay up over a disposable because the waist line design is so good.  The relaxed pocket design (rear view on website should show you what I mean) makes the jeans look well loved and comfy.  The crocodile on the back pocket looks just as great when worn with the matching top as with other plain tops.  One of my first Frugi purchases for Tom was a wardrobe full of bug inspired clothes. Both boys love to see creatures sneakily peeking out of pockets or crawling up hems.  It is such a good idea and makes getting dressed that little bit more interesting.  Great to see that Frugi keep bringing out new ways of keeping the boys entertained.

Mr Croc T-shirt

This Mr Croc T-Shirt has had more comments than any other item so far.  The children simply love it and Finn has been circled by many toddlers admiring Mr Croc.  Such a lovely idea to have him winding round.  The fit is brilliant and the cotton super Frugi soft.  As with all Frugi wear it seems, no ironing required which is always a bonus.  Wouldn’t normally buy grey – this is the first grey item to feature in either wardrobe but the contrast neck trim lifts it perfectly and it does look great with denim.  Thank you for challenging my lack of greyness Frugi.  This top is a big hit.
