About Cut4Cloth
Cut4Cloth Ltd is a family run business that is based in a little village near the Helford River in Cornwall. It was conceived one night, whilst I was desperately trying to do up the poppers of our son Tom's sleepsuit.
Ordinary clothes, even the next size up, were just not cut to fit over cloth nappies. Once Tom was soundly asleep "poppers left undone", I trawled the internet for companies that specialised in clothing to fit over cloth nappies... and found none. An idea was born!
The majority of baby clothing manufacturers are still cutting their clothes for the 85% of people using disposable nappies. At Cut4Cloth you will find a fantastic range of clothing that caters for the rest of us.
We hope that by providing a range of clothing that is manufactured under environmentally sound conditions, that is soft, pure and most importantly comfortable, we will be helping to make it easier for more people to come across to using real nappies.
Our clothes for cloth nappies are made from the purest 100% organic cotton certified by AGRECO. Garments are dyed using environmentally responsible dyes that are free from banned amines, AZO, AOX, formaldehyde, heavy metals and other harmful additives.
Our manufacturers, in rural India, give importance to working conditions, wages and human rights. No employee is under 18 years of age and the company has a long-term agenda of support for a local tribal school.
We feel that it is important to follow the environmental principles with our clothing that led us to cloth nappies in the first place.
